History of The Inn at Cook Street

Michael Cunningham, the author of "The Hours" and other notable works,
finished the celebrated novel, "Home at the End of the World", as a
winter guest.

Also, Simie Maryles, the artist whose painting, "Sunlight Contata", is
featured on the home page, was married here in 1975.

Traveling even further back in time to 1836, this house was once
owned by Sylvanius and Louisa Cook, a prominent mariner's family. We now
invite you to join us as our guests and become part of the history at
The Inn at Cook Street in Provincetown.
