Your innkeepers are Lisa Feistel and Doreen Birdsell
Lisa has said good-bye to a 17 year career as the owner of a pre-owned car dealership and internet auto sales business. Doreen has owned Birdsell Studios for photography and video in NYC and Westport, CT since 1988.

Westport, CT had been our home since 1993 where we entertained friends and family through many seasons. Being Innkeepers became a vision in August of 2001 while vacationing in Provincetown at the Copperfox. The idea of a life as innkeepers resonated with both of us and we made a five year plan.

We prayed for God to bless our dream and we committed to living fully and maximizing our potential to that end.

Our vision as innkeepers lay dormant until July of 2005 and another vacation in Provincetown at the Oxford Guest House. We meandered into a real estate office and saw the Inn at Cook Street bed and breakfast for sale. We had been guests of the Inn in 2003 and knew it was a fabulous property and a gracious home. We also knew that time, resources, and opportunity had presented themselves. We pulled up stakes in Westport and embraced our vision. On October 28, 2005 we became the owners of the Inn at Cook Street in Provincetown. Our mission now is to provide an environment for you as our guests that is fertile for dreaming dreams spawned from the inspiration of the Province lands.

We are so blessed to have John Gagliardi, the former owner of the reknowned Copperfox in Provincetown as part of our team at the Inn at Cook Street. John was our inspiration to be innkeepers when we were his guests in 2001.
