Inn at Cook Street Policies
The Inn at Cook Street is a non-smoking and no pet resort. We welcome guests 16 years of age or older.
We recommend before making a reservation request that you thoroughly read all of our policies which are explained in great detail on this page. It is important for you to understand our Cancellation, Minimum Stay, Deposit and Payment terms before making your reservation. Deposit and Payment Terms
The deposit required to confirm your reservation is equal to 50% of the total stay. One night stays are charged the full amount (plus the 11.7% MA room tax). Visa, Master Card, and American Express are all accepted. All deposits and payments are due in U.S. funds only. NOTE: Personal Checks are accepted for all reservations made more than 2 months in advance. Personal checks are only accepted for advanced deposits or full pre-payment. The balance of the room is due upon arrival. We only accept credit cards as method of payment.
We realize that your vacation time is very precious to you and our main desire is to make you feel right at home during your stay. Unfortunately, unexpected changes do occur. Therefore our cancellation and/or early departure policy is as follows with NO EXCEPTIONS: Your deposit is refundable UP TO 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival date less 10% of your deposit or $75 dollars, whichever is greater for administrative costs. Deposits on a reservation cancelled at any time prior to a stay during June, July, August, September or over Major Holiday Periods or any other special event period are NON REFUNDABLE unless we are able to re-let your room for the entire booking minus a $75 cancellation fee. Deposits on rooms cancelled LESS than 21 days of the scheduled arrival date, cannot be refunded or transferred regardless of the reason for cancellation. The entire deposit is forfeited as the agreed upon late cancellation fee. The same is true for stays that are shortened or for early departures. Within 21 days the deposit minus 10% is only refundable if room is re-rented.
As there are no refunds due to medical or family emergencies, bad weather, missed or cancelled flights or ferry reservations, change of plans, etc. We highly recommend considering PURCHASING TRIP INSURANCE available from any agent or online at www.insuremytrip.com.
Minimum stays of 2 nights are usually required for all advanced bookings. Weekends during High Season, Holidays, Theme Weeks, and Special Events (Friday and/or Saturday Nights) require a 3 night minimum stay.
Arrival and Departures
Check-IN time: 2pm-6pm. For arrivals after 6pm, please contact us, and we will provide you with instructions for self check-in.
Check-OUT time for guests including their cars is at 11am.
The fireplaces are not available for use in the rooms from June 15th through September 15th.
Additional cleaning required beyond normal housekeeping will be billed at a minimum charge of $50.00 plus any additional services needed.
All rooms will be inspected prior to the arrival of guests and during their stay. It is the guest’s responsibility to bring any major damage issues to the attention of the Inn staff at the time of their arrival into the room. The Inn staff upon the departure of the guest will inspect rooms. The Inn at Cook Street has the right to bill guests for any repairs and/or replacement that are needed that would be considered “beyond normal wear and tear.” Beyond “normal wear and tear” shall be determined by the management of The Inn at Cook Street. If the need for damage billing arises, The Inn at Cook Street will bill damages to the guest credit card information that is placed on file at The Inn upon check in.
The Inn at Cook Street has a strict NON-SMOKING policy within all of our buildings. A $200 fee will be charged to all rooms for additional cleaning if the manager determines guests were smoking in the room. Additionally, candles and other sources of open flames are NOT permitted in the guestrooms. Any guest violating the non-smoking or open flame policy will be billed an additional $200 for cleanup costs of room.
Regrettably, The Inn at Cook Street is not an environment suitable for guests under the age of 16.
Though we do appreciate you not wanting to leave your loved ones behind, The Inn at Cook Street cannot accommodate pets. However, you may drop your loved one(s) off at Provincetown Pet Resort and Supplies. They can be reached at (508) 487-7900. The resort allows unlimited in and out privileges for you and your friend so, they too, can enjoy a walk on our nearby beaches or a parade down Commercial Street.
Bike Racks are available on premises in garden area. Bikes are not permitted in guestrooms or in any building structure.
Parking is available on a first come first serve basis. One small or mid-sized car is permitted per room. Vehicle owners are responsible for any damages done by their vehicle on the premises.
